Honoring Our Mothers and Grandmothers
5/9/14 under General News Women's Health
We honor mothers and grandmothers for the gift they have given us...life!
Sunday was Mother’s Day, and it's National Women’s Health Week. Running Strong supports mothers and all women with our women and children’s health programs.
"From the bodies of women flows the relationship of those generations both to society and the natural world. In this way is the earth our mother, the old people said. In this way, we as women are earth."
- Aboriginal midwife Katsi Cook (Akwesasne Mohawk)
Honor your mother by making a gift to Running Strong in her honor, or surprise her with a trip of a lifetime on our 2014 Reservations Tour (current prices include a 10% early bird discount before June 30th.)
When you make a gift to Running Strong in her honor, you support our many important programs serving American Indian youth and their communities.
Let's honor the women in our lives by helping those that need our support!
