Every year, Running Strong and the Cheyenne River Youth Project^® (CRYP) work hard to ensure that children on the Cheyenne River Reservation have a safe and happy Christmas.

Cheyenne River children grow up in dire poverty and isolation and Running Strong believes that it is especially important to make sure they know they are not forgotten during the holidays.

Every year, CRYP has the kids in their youth project write "Dear Santa" letters and Running Strong and the Cheyenne River Youth Project^® work hard to make sure that each child gets at least one wish from his/her list fulfilled.

This year was a difficult year on the Cheyenne River Reservation and the toy drive made a real difference.
