Candace Dickerson is the childcare/project director at the Chickahominy’s Little Arrows Preschool/Daycare, tribally owned and operated by the Chickahominy Indian Tribe – Eastern Division, in Providence Forge, Virginia. She will use her $5,000 grant to build Chickahominy’s Little Arrows classrooms. 

This funding will help furnish and supply their under-construction preschool with appropriate furniture and play-based learning materials to ensure educators and children are set up for success. This preschool incorporates aspects of childcare and Native culture, so that children can grow with the care and cultural lessons they need.
