Thanks to the generous support of our donors, approximately 2,300 food boxes, containing meats, veggies, beans and other staples – enough food to feed a family of four for a WEEK – were sent to the Pine Ridge and Eagle Butte Indian Reservation throughout the summer! 

In July, 800 Pine Ridge families received food boxes from Running Strong. We added this shipment to our food delivery schedule after hearing from volunteers that their #1 need was food! It was so difficult for our volunteers to see a hungry child and not be able to help.

In August, you helped us send approximately 800 additional boxes to Pine Ridge and 700 to Eagle Butte to help feed hungry children and their families!
