Earlier today Dave Lone Elk, Running Strong Field Coordinator, was the featured guest on Gary Fife’s radio show for Mvskoke Media. Dave spoke about the recent XL food shipment to our field office, Tipi Waste, and described the impact the delivery had on his Pine Ridge Indian Reservation community. Dave went on to talk about additional Running Strong programs on the reservation, such as our winter clothes distribution and annual Heat Match, and how he became involved with Running Strong operations from a young age.
